WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY 12-7-16
~LAS POSADAS~
On Wednesday morning, members of Anahí's family and Alex's family visited our classroom to share with the class about Las Posadas.
Anahí's abuela made a special treat for us that was very yummy!
~NUMBER WRITING~
We learned and practiced writing numbers 9 and 10. Our number writing books are now complete!
Ask your child about the snowman math activity he/she did.
We decorated our letter "U" with umbrellas. Be sure to ask your child to show you the motion we do when making the /U/ sound.
THRILLING THURSDAY 12-8-16
We had some special musicians visit our classroom. Mrs. Sneeringer (Jordan's mom) teaches music and band in the Middle and Upper Schools. She and her teaching partner, Mrs. O'Rourke, played Christmas music for us.
~HANUKKAH~
Mrs. Spolter shared with us about celebrating Hanukkah.
Pictured below are menorahs that are lit during the celebration of Hanukkah.
Children could make a menorah of their own.
FANTASTIC FRIDAY 12-9-16
We had Art class with Mr. Cicetti this morning. Children could choose to do various art activities including, modeling with clay, painting, fish printing, and making paper chains.
We decorated our letter "B" with band-aids.
Ruth's mom visited our classroom this morning to read us a Christmas story and share a family Christmas tradition.

The Lower School was treated to a concert by musician, Justin Roberts, this afternoon!
