~STAR OF THE WEEK~
Katelyn is the "Star of the Week"!  We learned that Katelyn wants to be a police officer when she grows up.  We also found out the Katelyn has about 7 different favorite foods including french fries and sushi.  Thank you for sharing your photos with us Katelyn.  We enjoyed getting to know you better.

~EDP on Monday~
Mr. Ditty visited us and had us doing some Yoga poses/moves to help us relax.  He also read a story about ways to help us calm down if/when we are upset or angry.
 ~OUTER SPACE~
We learned more about astronauts from the story, Floating In Space, including how astronauts sleep, exercise, eat and go to the bathroom when they are in Outer Space.  We then watched two short video clips on how astronauts go to bed and how they wash their hair on the International Space Station.  Next, we sampled some "astronaut" strawberries--food that astronauts would take with them to Outer Space.
 ~HANDWRITING~
We reviewed how to write the letters T, I, U and C today.

 ~EDP~Tuesday
Tuesday was a Discovery Day.  After reading the story, Zoom!  Zoom! I'm Off to the Moon!, we did a rocket experiment.  Using tape, a straw with yarn threaded through, and a balloon, children would "fly" their rockets.
