FANTASTIC FRIDAY 11-18-16

ASK ME ABOUT...
...the color of the cake batter that I mixed.
...the activity I did with my 3rd grade buddies.
...the ice cube experiment we did.
...the story, Pete the Cat:  I Love My White Shoes.

~RAINBOW CUPCAKES~
This morning, the children helped turn our white cake batter into a different color.  Once we had 6 different colors of cake batter, the teacher made colorful cupcakes that we enjoyed eating for snack.

Our colorful cake batter turned into rainbow cupcakes!

 ~COLOR EXPERIMENT~
This morning, we took our colored ice cubes from the freezer and placed them into cups so they could melt.

At the end of the morning, we investigated the water that was created by the melted ice cubes and discovered it made the following colors....
 ~COLOR BOOKS~
We got together with our 3rd grade buddies to work together on a color book.  The Pre-K children did the illustrations, while their 3rd grade buddies wrote the words.  These books are now on display on the bulletin board outside of our classroom.

~COLOR STORY~
Since we all wore different colored shoes today, we read the story about Pete the Cat and his shoes.

~EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
Today was an Art day with Mr. Cicetti.
