At the Discovery Station, children are completing a magnet experiment.
At Math Magic, children are rolling a die or dice; counting the number of dots on the die/dice and coloring in the corresponding number on their recording sheet.
At the ABC Station, children are completing a page for our class color book.
With Mrs. Spolter, children are working with pattern blocks and exercising their spatial reasoning skills.

~FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
Children are enjoying role-playing in our newly-opened Veterinarian Office.
 ~STAR OF THE WEEK~
Sajan is our new "Star of the Week"!  Today we learned that Sajan likes elephant and piggy stories by Mo Willems, likes to eat macaroni and cheese, and wants to be a pilot when he grows up.  Be sure to ask your child about the bug viewer Sajan shared with the class and the book he brought in to share with the class.  We enjoyed getting to know you better, Sajan!

~EDP~
Today was a Cooking Day.  We read the book, Green Eggs and Ham and then made green eggs!   Ask your child how he/she did cracking an egg!

Today Mr. Ditty visited our class for a Second Step lesson.  There was a discussion about what the meaning of proud.  Here were some of the children's explanations....

"Proud is standing up tall and shouting Hooray!"

"Proud is being happy with something you've done."

"I feel proud of my mom when she buys me a new toy."

Following the discussion, the children drew pictures of a time when they felt proud.
