~STAR PLANT~
Using a star-shaped container filled with potting soil, we sprinkled and watered some chia seeds that we will watch grow. We are keeping a close watch on our seeds, eagerly awaiting for them to sprout!
~EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
We did cooking today (Friday)! After reading the story, The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and THE BIG HUNGRY BEAR, we made a strawberry "crisp". The children sliced the strawberries into small pieces, juiced a lemon, helped mix the ingredients, patted down the "crust" and added the strawberries. We enjoyed eating our "work" for snack when it was warm from the oven and topped off with some vanilla ice cream. YUMMY!
