~STAR OF THE WEEK~
Nola is the Star of the Week!  Today we learned that Nola's favorite foods include macaroni and cheese, french fries and chicken.  When she grows up Nola would like to be a veterinarian.  After sharing her photos, Nola shared her favorite book--No Girls Allowed and her Moana doll.  We enjoyed getting to know you better, Nola!

 ~HANDWRITING~
Letter "S" can be a tricky letter to make.  So, we practiced making the letter "S" several different ways.

We wrote using chalk on black paper.
We practiced using dry erase markers.

We practiced using markers on white paper.
We practiced writing in shaving cream.

~EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
~MONDAY~
We did a cooking activity and made festive Spring popcorn!  Olivia's mom provided us with the recipe and ingredients for this activity.   Children drizzled the popcorn with melted chocolate; added sprinkles; and stirred in M&M's.  Not only did this snack look good, it tasted good, as well!

 ~TUESDAY~
Today we experimented with bubbles.  After reading the story POP!, we blew bubbles on the tables which were covered with bubble solution.  Children dipped a straw into a small container of bubble solution and then blew bubbles.  There were lots of squeals and giggles with this activity!
