Budding artists....
Yesterday during Extended Day Pre-K, we made our own galaxy playdough. We have placed the playdough in our sensory tub for creative Outer Space play!
Katelyn counts the new objects in the counting basket--rabbits and chicks. She made a pattern as she placed the objects on the 100 chart. There were 84 chicks and rabbits.

This afternoon, Mr. Ditty visited our class. He read us the story, 1-2-3 A Calmer Me, which helped us learn ways to cope with feelings of anger, sadness and disappointment.
In the photos below, children are practicing a strategy called, Getting Rid of the "Grumpies".
