~CATERPILLAR FRUIT KABOBS~
Yesterday afternoon and this morning, each child made a caterpillar fruit kabob. We encouraged children to make a pattern when creating their kabobs. The caterpillars were fun to make and yummy to eat!
~FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
Check out the symmetrical butterflies created by students during Free Choice time.
~MONARCH AND PINK~
Check out how big our caterpillars have grown since Monday!
~BUTTERFLIES AND MOTHS~
Today we did an activity to review what we have learned about butterflies and moths. Using a Venn diagram pocket chart, children decided if the "trait" on their card was that of a butterfly, of a moth, or of both a butterfly and a moth. We definitely have some butterfly and moth experts!
~CINCO DE MAYO~
Today we learned about how the holiday Cinco De Mayo is celebrated in Mexico.
~EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
Will Belford (Mr. Will to the Pre-K students) is a senior at Academy and has been helping our Pre-K stars during swimming class. Today is Will's last day of school. We made him a card to thank him for helping us in swimming class and to wish him luck in college.
