We are so proud of our youngest Vikes and their performance on stage Wednesday morning. Bravo, Pre-K!
~ALPHABET MEMORY BOOK~
Today we discussed the words yummy and yucky--their beginning letter, beginning sound, and meaning. Then, each child decided on and drew 2 foods that are yummy and 2 foods that are yucky. The children also labeled the pictures using their sight word knowledge and knowledge of the letter sounds.
~LIFE CYCLE OF A BUTTERFLY~
Today we reviewed what we know and are learning about moths and butterflies--their similarities and their differences. Using the display board pictured below, ask your child to share what he/she has learned about these two insects.
In their folders, children are bringing home a "newspaper" just for them, reporting on butterflies and moths.
