~WORK STATIONS~
We are doing 4 final work stations this week.

At the work station pictured below, children are using a math manipulative called tangrams, which includes the following shapes:  2 large triangles; 1 medium triangle, 1 square, 1 parallelogram and 2 small triangles.  Children manipulate the shapes to fit into the provided figure.

At the Discovery Station, children are drawing designs on a butterfly "mobile", focusing on making the butterfly symmetrical.
At the Creation Station, children are coloring the cover page for their alphabet memory book.

At our final work station, children illustrate their page for our class book called, In the Summer.
~ZERO THE HERO~
Layla's family helped us celebrate our 150th day of school!
We made tie-dye butterflies!  Thank you for a fun activity!

 ~EDP~
Today we traveled to the Crane Outdoor Learning Center for a lesson with Mr. Ditty.  First, Mr. Ditty reread a story about growing.  Then, each child planted his/her own wildflower seeds.  We will take care of and watch them at school.  On the last day children will bring their flowers home and can plant them in the ground.
