~CLASS BOOK~
Peekabook Guess Who? is our class book with all of our classmates from Pre-K "A".  Each child will have a turn to bring home the class book to share with his/her family.

 ~EDP~
On Monday, Mr. Ditty visited our class, read the book It's Okay to Make Mistakes,  and discussed how we learn from our mistakes.

~MORNING MESSAGE~
On Tuesday morning, children answered a question which was on the Morning Message.

 ~GREETING~
During our Morning Meeting on Tuesday, children learned a new greeting where they used a magnifying glass to greet their classmates.
 ~FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
Children created an AB pattern using Fall objects.
Children sorting plastic spiders by their attributes (size, color).

We opened our Sensory Tub today.  Inside the tub, various objects are hidden.  Children use a magnet wand to discover which items are magnetic and those that are not.

Calvin builds a tower taller than himself!
Ella attaches clothespins (with letters written on them) to a hanger in alphabetical order.

~HANDWRITING~
We did a handwriting activity today using our "pointer" finger and sand.  Children enjoyed the experience of writing numbers in the sand with their finger.  We will use this sensory experience as we begin learning the correct formation for writing numbers and letters.

~COLORS~
Today we introduced our new topic of study....Colors.  We shared what we know about colors, read the story Bear Sees Colors, and then learned how to play the game, Colorama.

 ~EDP~
Today was a Discovery Day!  We headed outside to collect nature objects that we will use  for lessons and activities during our Outdoor Week, next week.  At the end of our walk, children chose 4 of their items to take home.
