In the story Everybody Needs A Rock, we learned 10 rules for finding the perfect rock.
~OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES~
We have been learning the poem, "Five Little Pumpkins", which describes pumpkins that are sitting on a gate. As a follow-up activity, children were provided with 6 wooden blocks, 6 wooden sticks and 5 candy pumpkins and instructed to build a gate that would hold the candy pumpkins. This was a great problem-solving, engineering activity!
We took advantage of the bright sunshine and made sun prints.
~EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
This afternoon, we headed outside on a rock hunt and to take a hike through the woods.
